Becoming a Christian
To become a Christian you have to notice that:
God loves you. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotton son that whomsoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
We all have sinned. All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
One sin can and will separate you from God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Christ has died for YOU. God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners. Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
To Become a Christian, You Must:Repent of your sin. Repent and be baptized, everyone of you, in the
name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Acts 2:38
Believe that Jesus died for your sin and that He rose again. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10
Trust Jesus as your Savior. If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10.
To Live and Grow as a Christian, You Must Tell others what Jesus has done for you. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15
Live in ways that please God. If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 14:15
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. 1 Chronicles 4:9-10
God is giving you a great gift you just need to accept it.
If you want to become a Christian pray this prayer or something like it:
Dear God I am sorry for all of my sins. I believe that you sent your son to die on the cross in my place. Please forgive me for all that I have done. I know that I am not worthy to enter your kingdom, but your son Jesus has made a way. I ask you into my heart Lord. In Jesus name Amen.
